The CV Builder works hand in hand with an individual’s My World of Work account. Any personal details they add will be automatically added to any new CV they create.

I want to create more than one CV, what’s the best way to do this?

Unless you want to start from the beginning, it is easiest to create a copy of your CV - just click on the copy button. This lets you keep your original CV, and creates a duplicate that can be edited. You can also export your CV to Microsoft Word or RTF and make changes as you would with any other document.

My personal details are wrong, how do I change them?

If you need to update your name, address or email details, just click on the edit button and update as needed. We also recommend that you update the details in your account so that if you create a new CV in future, the correct details will be automatically populated for you.

What format will my CV be in when downloaded?

You can download your completed CV in either Rich Text Format or as a Word Doc if you want to edit it, or as a PDF if not.

How do I print my CV?

Once you’ve downloaded your completed CV, you should print it using the programme you’ve opened it in on your computer.
