A woman surrounded by careers icons.

We're happy to announce the launch of our brand new My World of Work website on 3 June 2024!

This exciting change will bring a fresh look and improved features to help you manage your career journey.

We’ve made a series of frequently asked questions and listed key dates to help you prepare.

Your My World of Work account isn't available right now

We’re doing some essential maintenance before we launch our new and improved website.

This means you can’t log in to your My World of Work account at the moment. Don’t worry – you can still use the rest of the site as normal.

Do you have CVs and profiles you’d like to access? They’ll all be waiting for you on our new My World of Work. All you have to do is reset your password using the email we’ll send to you on 3 June.

How do I get access to the new My World of Work?

On 3 June 2024, you’ll receive an email from us. We’ll send this to the email address you use to sign in to your My World of Work account.

The email will ask you to reset your password. Once you do this, your saved CVs will automatically move over to the new My World of Work website. If your profile is complete, you’ll also have access to this on the new website.

I'm a primary teacher, should I do anything?

On the new My World of Work, teachers and pupils can access most tools and content without having to register or log in. We’re not taking pupil and primary teacher accounts with us to the new site. So, this means you’ll no longer have a My World of Work account when our new site launches.

I’m a secondary teacher, should I do anything?

On the new My World of Work, teachers and pupils can access tools and content without having to register or log in. The only exceptions to this are our CV Builder, achievements and saving strengths reports.

On 3 June 2024, we’ll send emails to all users who have accessed their My World of Work account in the last three years. This email will ask them to reset their password. If a pupil successfully resets their password, their account will migrate over to our new website.

If your pupils have profiles or CVs they’d like to keep, we recommend they follow these steps:

  • find their log in details
  • enter this email and password when they receive an email from us on 3 June 2024
  • reset their password so their account moves over to the new website
