Support for secondary pupils and school leavers

We understand it's an uncertain time due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Even though you're back at school, things are a bit different and can take some time to get used to.

We’re still here to support you. SDS careers advisers are returning to schools to meet with pupils. We may not be available for face-to-face appointments in every area at the moment, but we’re still available online or over the phone. Contact your school office or local centre for more information.

We also have lots of help and advice here on My World of Work. Get started on your to-do list in your My World of Work account and find more information on this page.

Pathway Apprenticeships

If you’re about to leave school or just left school and unemployed, Pathway Apprenticeships can help you to prepare for the world of work. You’ll gain an industry-recognised qualification and accelerate your progression into future employment or further apprenticeship opportunities. Visit for more information.
