This course provides workplace assessors with the knowledge and skills to: successfully assess a learner's performance through observation and offer feedback on these decisions in line with the organisational and awarding body requirements; assessment preparation and planning to meet the needs of learners and the environment; judging evidence against agreed standards to make assessment decisions; providing feedback and support on your assessment decisions; contributing to the internal quality assurance process.Assessment will be conducted through the production of a portfolio cataloguing the learner's work.There are opportunities for assessors to operate within a variety of environments where S/NVQ programmes are provided.
