They assist by setting up the spaces, meeting and greeting participants, preparing and serving refreshments at the social time, helping to provide practical support and partnering participants in dancing when required.

We require volunteers to help with our befriending groups Some examples of what we require are Pick up/drop off bus chaperon, general set up and break down of equipment, befriending - chatting with attendees and serving refreshments.

As a volunteer Lunch Club Helper, you will welcome the people that come along and encourage them to feel as comfortable as possible while chatting and playing games. The role will also involve helping our friendly team of volunteers set up our halls, serving lunch/meals and tidying up afterwards.

The role requires a PVG (Disclosure) check, which will be paid for by Age Concern.
