This MSc provides an opportunity to gain relevant contextual and subject specialist knowledge through a structured programme of academic studies. It adds value to your first business or accounting related degree by giving you an integrated and critically aware understanding of your specialism.

Graduates can explore a rich diversity of career options in finance and accounting management posts in industry and commerce.

Students may wish to fully complete their professional accreditation with CIMA, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, as the primary aim of this programme is to obtain professional exemptions.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have achieved a degree in any business or accounting related discipline. Applicants with lesser qualifications may also be considered if they have sufficient relevant work experience within the industry, and/or hold other degrees, as long as they have started to study with any accounting and finance professional body, such as ACCA, CIMA, etc. Where English is not the first language, students must be able to satisfy the University of their competence in English with an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) and no less than 5.5 in any individual component.
