This course is for those who want to learn about competing views, perspectives, theories and evidence from social science subjects such as criminology, psychology and sociology. It's designed to prepare students for HNC study in the Social Sciences.
This course will give you transferable skills for employment. You will also have chance to gain knowledge and understanding which may help you progress on to more advanced courses at SCQF Level 7.
Learning outcome
Employment: It will give you a range of transferable skills that will be desirable to employers.
Education: HNC Social Sciences or other relevant HN-level courses within West Lothian College
Entry requirements
If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.
