This course is for those who want to learn about competing views, perspectives, theories and evidence from Psychology, Criminology and Sociology. You will be introduced to ideas and explanations that give an understanding of why people behave in the way they do and how social institutions influence people in society.
This course may prepare you for studies at SCQF level 6 and will also give you transferable skills for employment.
Learning outcome
Employment: It will give you a range of transferable skills that will be desirable to employers.
Education: Social Science level 6 or other relevant NQ higher-level courses within West Lothian College
Entry requirements
If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.
