This course covers the 3 main practical welding processes MMA, MIG & TIG as well as practical Fabrication skills to get you ready for your career. You will also cover the academic side of this career in understanding how equipment works and the materials used in Fabrication & Welding.

This course covers all the practical and theory skills need for a career in this industry and can also lead to apprenticeships with Fabrication & Welding companies always eager to recruit.

Learning outcome

Education: NC level 6 and then on to HNC/D and degree-level.

Employment: a career in welding and fabrication.

Successful completion of the NC can lead straight onto employment or further your qualification with the HNC Fabrication, Welding & Inspection
