This introductory course is designed to give you the skills to support career opportunities into a multi-disciplined industry. The course focuses on the basic construction skills and techniques which support development of your practical skills and help build strong employability skills. This course is base around wall insulation to help make homes efficient.
The course provides an excellent stepping stone into the construction industry and will introduce you to the wide range of career opportunities available.
The course will give you more knowledge and understanding to support choices when considering further career development in this industry
The course is designed to develop your practical skills and understanding of the construction industry which includes external wall insulation – installation and finishing.
External Wall Insulation is a very dynamic, fast moving, vibrant and expanding industry offering opportunities to further widen your experience knowledge and understanding of this area of construction.
Learning outcome
Education: Lead to further development of a career in Construction on a wide range of courses
Apprenticeship Apprenticeship training in External Wall Insulation or other appropriate construction disciplines
Entry requirements
We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals with an enthusiasm in developing a career in the construction industry.
If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.
