HNC ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING EVENING YEAR 2

Course description

This course is for those wanting to pursue a career in electrical engineering at technician level. Covering all aspects of electrical engineering, the course includes inspect and test and three phase systems and graded unit.

The course includes, communication practical skills, single phase AC circuits, mathematics for engineering, electrical networks and resonance, electrical safety, fundamentals of control systems and transducers, electrical machine principles, three phase systems and power electronics.

This course is assessed through a formal and written examination covering mandatory units, together with a mix of practical laboratory exercises and end of unit assessments.

Individual units can be studied to suit candidates.
