Course description
This course follows on from NC level 5 hairdressing. It helps students move into work within the hairdressing industry or progress to SVQ (level 3) hairdressing.
The course covers:The course will prepare you for employment/self-employment in hairdressing. You’ll gain work experience in our Platinum Salon; guest speakers will tell you about career options; and you will keep up to date with current trends.
Learning outcome
Education: SVQ level 3 hairdressing.
Employment: qualified hairdresser working in a salon as a stylist or freelance hairdresser.
Entry requirements
If English is not your first language, ESOL Level 5 is an entry requirement for this course.
