Course description

The business course helps you develop the necessary knowledge and skills required for working in the modern business world and for progression onto HNC and degree level study.

This course includes: core business subjects, accounts, human resource management, marketing, economics, research skills, communication and ICT, with the opportunity to complete a work placement and engage with local employers.

The course prepares you for progress to Higher National and degree levels. You also gain skills which employers are looking for in information technology, communication, numeracy, problem solving, working with others, enterprise and employability. You will develop work experience through placements.
