This course is for people who are fairly fluent in English and aims to improve language skills including reading, writing, listening and speaking. You have the chance to study another subject of your choice during the course.

The course includes ESOL National 4, ESOL National 5, Living in Scotland, ICT units and a work placement unit with an opportunity to engage with college staff and other partners to discuss your next steps. Students will be supported to use their communication skills in a variety of contexts.

The course prepares you for further study and for qualifications at levels 4 and 5. You need to have National 5 ESOL or equivalent for all NQ, HNC and HND study.
