  • Why choose this course

You’ll learn how today's engineering systems work and contribute to modern life through a focus on practical applications. Engineers are often expected to know about all aspects of an engineering system (mechanical, electrical and so on) and this course offers the mix of skills that many employers and companies want.

You also get the chance to study at college as an associate of Edinburgh Napier University and so guarantee your place at university in either second on various degree courses depending on course results and graded.

    Learning outcome

Past students have progressed onto further study at Heriot-Watt and Strathclyde University (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)

Employment: apprenticeship to qualify at technician level; foundation for engineering and technical jobs, including design, manufacture, servicing, maintaining and testing complex engineering systems.
