Course description

Studying history – the story of humanity through the ages – develops your knowledge of the past and gives you a better understanding of the present. We also offer some of the best teaching in Human Resource Management (HRM) in both Scotland and the UK. Human Resource Management (HRM) is about the relationship between employers and employees and the ways in which people are managed in the workplace.

Entry requirements

Scottish HNC minimum entry requirements: Pass

HNC Social Sciences: A in Graded Unit; Maths National 5 B, or equivalent

Scottish HND minimum entry requirements: Pass

HND Social Sciences: AAB in Graded Units may enable second-year entry to History with Politics & International Relations or Psychology with six HNC/HND credits in each of the two subjects

Scottish Higher minimum entry requirements: A,A,A,A

Higher English, Maths/Applications of Mathematics National 5 B-C, or equivalent
