Course details

Course description

In this Microsoft Excel training, you will learn to: Efficiently navigate and manipulate worksheets and workbooks. Implement an income and expense statement with formulas, functions, and names. Design a reusable data entry template that protects formulas. Implement conditional formatting to analyze sales information.

The filter tool gives you the ability to filter a column of data within a table to isolate the key components you need. The sorting tool allows you to sort by date, number, alphabetic order and more. In the following example, we will explore the usage of sorting and filtering and show some advanced sorting techniques.

Data validation in Excel is a feature that allows you to control the type of data entered into your worksheet. For example, Excel data validation allows you to limit data entries to a selection from a dropdown list and to restrict certain data entries, such as dates or numbers outside of a predetermined range.

An Excel drop down list[1] is a data validation function that allows users to select an option from a list of choices. It can be particularly useful in performing financial modeling and analysis by incorporating scenarios and making a spreadsheet more dynamic.

Date and time functions are used when working with date, time, and duration data, and can perform operations like measuring the number of days (DAYS) between two dates, automatically inputting the current date (TODAY) or date and time (NOW), merging multiple values into one date value (DATE), and more.

In Microsoft Excel, there are several logical functions that you can use to perform decision-making tasks and work with logical values.

The TEXT function lets you change the way a number appears by applying formatting to it with format codes. It's useful in situations where you want to display numbers in a more readable format, or you want to combine numbers with text or symbols.

The course enables the feature to use resources once the candidate registers with the course. The files can be used again and again by the candidates to keep practicing for improving their understanding.

I would like to receive feedback about my sessions, as I am a newbie.
