This course will provide you with the knowledge and laboratory-based skills that are essential in both the field of Bioscience and Biomedical Science. The key benefit of studying this combination of subjects is that you will be suitably qualified to enter a range of professions.
The School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences laboratories are very well equipped and emphasis is placed on practical ‘hands on' experience, particularly in laboratory work. Our bioanalytical, tissue culture and microscopy facilities have all been recently upgraded, supporting the enhancement of your technical skills and your future employability.

Entry requirements
Scottish HNC minimum entry requirements: Pass
in a relevant subject and with graded unit A for consideration for entry to year 2
Scottish HND minimum entry requirements: Pass
in a relevant subject for consideration into year 3 with graded units AA
Scottish Higher minimum entry requirements: B,B,C,C
to include Biology/Human Biology or Chemistry. Biology, English, Maths and one further science (Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science or Health and Food Technology) are required at National 5 grade C if not held at Higher.
Scottish Advanced Higher minimum entry requirements:
