Course description

This MCA approved course is designed to provide you with the skills to maintain safe navigation through effective use of electronic navigation systems.

You will receive the fundamental knowledge and skills to keep a safe navigational watch, and to use radar, ARPA and other navigational aids to maintain safety of navigation.

This course includes the 5 day ECDIS IMO Model Course 1.27.

  • Learning outcome

    Progression:

    NAEST training is a mandatory requirement for all MCA Class 2 Fishing Certificates of Competency and Office of the Watch Certificate of Competency.
