This qualification is designed for anyone (managers, supervisors and workers) in any type of organisation. It’s ideal for anyone who needs a broad understanding of the principles of health and safety and will enable you to manage day-to-day risks effectively. If you later decide to pursue a career in Health and Safety, this course will provide an essential foundation course and it can be used as an entry qualification to the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

Assessment
After completing the course, you will be required to register for the exam HSA1 which is a workplace health and safety review that should take approximately 3 hours to complete. This assessment is typically taken in the workplace and is designed to test your ability to put into practice the knowledge you have developed. Exam registration is included in your course fee but NEBOSH do charge for resits.
