ESOL: Part-time ESOL Testing

Course description

This online testing session is for anyone whose first language is not English, who requires to evidence their level of English language competency for part-time application to college.

This online testing session is for anyone whose first language is not English, who is interested in part-time ESOL courses at NESCol. Testing is required for all levels from Elementary and above. Testing is not required for complete beginners.

Once you have booked and paid the fees for the testing session, you will be asked to complete a NESCol online enrolment form. Once enrolled you will be issued with information and instructions on how to access the online test. The test is delivered via the Oxford Online Testing system.

Upon completion of the test, your level will be checked by an ESOL practitioner and a recommendation made in terms of the level you should study.

If any additional testing is required to confirm your level e.g. if you are in between two levels, you will be contacted with further instruction.
