Course description

This course is aimed at students who wish to discover and develop skills in IT and digital media.

This course can start your career in the computing sector. If you have worked with applications, built a website, posted to social media and want to find out what career path this can open up for you, then this course may be for you.

Designed to develop your knowledge of contemporary applications currently in use in computing and digital media, and offers the opportunity to explore a range of computing disciplines such as interactive media/web development, software development and teamwork.

    • A minimum of two subject passes (C grade or better) at National 4, Intermediate 1 or Standard Grade level, or
    • Successful completion of a relevant course at introductory level (SCQF Level 4).
