Course description

This flexible course provides applicants with an opportunity to gain key transferrable skills in preparation for employment or further study.

This course is intended to provide learners with a broad knowledge of key business functions alongside an associated range of practical skills in areas such as IT, Administration, Finance, Marketing and Customer Care. The course is designed to give students progression pathways to HND study in Accounting, Administration and IT, Business and in Legal Services; and to gain skills and knowledge for progression into employment.

The course includes a lot of practical elements, allowing students to apply and demonstrate the skills, knowledge and experience gained.

    This course is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programme. This means that you are required to have access to your own laptop computer, netbook or similar device in class each day that you are in college.

    Entry requirements

    Applicants should ideally have three National 5, Standard Grade Credit or Intermediate 2 qualifications, preferably including English and Maths. Other qualifications and experience may be considered, but the ability to work at SCQF Level 5 is essential.
