Course description

This course is aimed at those who want to work in the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.

This course follows the Level 1 course, and is aimed at those who want to strengthen their skill set and pursue a career in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles.

What you will experience
  • Build on your existing knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
  • Perfect your practical skills through carrying out extensive work in vehicle service and repair
  • What you will need

    Boiler suit, safety boots, safety glasses; paper, pens, pencils, calculator. A list will be sent to you before the start of the course.

    Learning outcome

    Diploma in Automotive Maintenance & Repair Principles Level 2.

    Entry requirements

    National 4, Intermediate 1 or Standard Grade Credit/General level qualification in Maths, English or a technical subject. An interest in motor vehicles is an advantage.

    Please note applicants must be 16 or over by the start of the course.
