Course Overview If you would like to explore your creativity and challenge yourself to learn skills with Long Hair and be introduced to Bridal Looks, this could be the course for you! What you will learn The candidate will learn current and classic trends in Long Hair Techniques with an introduction to Bridal Hair Looks incorporating the use of tools, equipment and products that will enhance their styling and finishing techniques using added hair and/or padding/ornamentation as required. This course will allow the candidate to develop Current Techniques in Long Hair using a wide range of products techniques and equipment for different hair types and a variety of current styles. Candidates will plan, prepare and style hair into current long hair looks. Progression. On successful completion of this course candidates will achieve an SQA Level 5 Current Techniques in Long Hair Unit. The practical activities and knowledge-based tasks will enable you to enhance your existing commercial Hair Styling skills and develop your creativity. What you will learn. The candidate will learn current and classic trends in Long Hair Techniques with an introduction to Bridal Hair Looks incorporating the use of tools, equipment and products that will enhance their styling and finishing techniques using added hair and/or padding/ornamentation as required. Candidates will plan, prepare and style hair into current long hair looks. Progression. On completion, successful candidates will be invited to join a Bridal Hair Short Course or if desired, can apply to progress to a full time SVQ Level 2 Hairdressing course.
