Entry requirements

The Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice is taught over 39 weeks. The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with a firm grounding of knowledge and skills in today's housing environment and act as a natural progression to the Level 4 Certificate in Housing. This course provides learners with a clear understanding in relation to why housing organisations have had to adapt in today's ever-changing and volatile housing environment and become more business oriented in order to survive in the market place. On completion of this course learners will be able to respond in a confident and effective manner, having developed the necessary skills and attributes to overcome barriers in order to make the right choices and decisions, within their work environment. Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice primarily relates to developing the learners’ awareness of the key driving forces within Housing Organisations. In addition, learners will gain a greater insight into policy and practice issues directly affecting their role within their respective organisation.
