Professional Development Award Book-keeping

Course description

To meet the needs of employers and adults returning to education, the Professional Development Award in Book-keeping is designed to be shorter in duration providing a bite size introduction to accounting. The PDA is suited to candidates wishing to study on a part-time basis whilst in employment in the sector. It is also appropriate for adult returners to education who do not wish to commit to a full-time HNC programme of study but seek to gain skills in book-keeping. The course is designed also to work around the school day so classes start at 9.30am and finish at 2.30pm. The PDA in Book-keeping can be completed within 18 weeks (one semester) running over two days per week.
