Course description
To meet the needs of employers and adults returning to education, the Professional Development Award in Financial Accounting is designed to be shorter in duration providing a bite size introduction to accounting. The PDA is suited to candidates wishing to study on a part-time basis whilst in employment in the sector. It is also appropriate for adult returners to education who do not wish to commit to a full-time HNC programme of study but seek to gain skills in Financial Accounting. here are three units within the PDA Financial Accounting course: Recording Financial Information Using Financial Accounting Software Preparing Financial Accounting Statements
