Mathematics is a fundamental way of thinking about the world and this degree equips budding mathematicians with the technical skills necessary to carve out a successful career. The degree covers basic knowledge and recent developments in research and develops advanced mathematical and statistical skills together with an understanding of their application to the formulation and solution of real-world problems. Scottish HNC minimum entry requirements: Pass
HNC with B in graded unit and SCQF Level 6 Mathematics modules or equivalent for entry to Year 1.
Scottish HND minimum entry requirements: Pass
HND with BB in graded units and SCQF Level 6 Mathematics modules or equivalent for entry to Year 1.
Scottish Higher minimum entry requirements: A,B,B,B,B
including Mathematics at A.
Scottish Advanced Higher minimum entry requirements: A,B,B
including Mathematics at A plus excellent Highers for entry to Year 2.
