NQ Level 4 Introduction to Hairdressing with Make-up Artistry is an introductory programme offers an insight into the hairdressing industry and provides hands-on, basic, practical hairdressing skills in ladies hair cutting, colouring, and styling.
It will not only develop your knowledge and skills but also your creativity and flair. The addition of an introduction to fashion make-up techniques will give you the opportunity to combine your talents in both hair and make-up.
During the NQ Introduction to Hairdressing with Make-Up Artistry Level 4 course you will learn:

- Prepare and assist in workplace environment
- Working with customers and colleagues
- Hairdressing practical skills
- Introduction to hair cutting skills
- Introduction to hair colouring skills

Entry requirements
- ESOL Level Intermediate Level 2 for applicants whose first language is not English
- You must be 16 years or over by the course start date
- Suitability for the course will be determined by an interview, a written test and a practical skills test where you must prove your passion for the industry.
