Course description
Become airline-ready in just one year with our NQ Cabin Crew Operations course. Designed in partnership with leading airlines, this course provides aspiring cabin crew with industry-relevant training. Using state-of-the-art technology and our mock cabin you will build your confidence and practical skills. Throughout the course you will gain hands-on experience in aircraft safety, emergency procedures and customer service. This course also includes a residential visit to Manchester to undertake emergency training at a specialist centre. By the end of the course you should feel prepared to ace any airline's interview and assessment.
You will cover:
- Introduction to airline/aviation operations
- Airline health, safety and security
- Airline emergency procedures (including water survival techniques)
- Cabin crew room duties
- Role of air cabin crew
- Preparation for employment as air cabin crew
- Airport ground operations
- An introduction to the tourism industry.
Entry requirements
- Two National 5 qualifications at level C or above, one preferably being English; or
- Other equivalent qualifications or experience.
Additional requirements:
- You should be 16 years or over by 30 September 2024
- You need to be a minimum height of 5’2 (1.59m)
- You must have the right to work in the UK
- You must be fluent in spoken and written English
- You are required to wear a uniform (which we will provide) on this course.
- If you do not meet the entry criteria for your chosen course, you may be offered an alternative course in the same subject area.
