Course description
This Engineering Pre-Apprenticeship Programme ScottishPower (Electrical Engineering) course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to be considered by ScottishPower as an apprentice on their Modern Apprenticeship Programme.
Glasgow Clyde College has a longstanding relationship with ScottishPower for delivering this programme that offers you a Level 5 qualification and industry training in electrical engineering.
If you are highly motivated and have a willingness to learn with a positive attitude, this course could be ideal for you.
You will receive a monthly allowance of £200 as a contribution towards travel and any course expenses.

Entry requirements
- Two National 5s, or equivalent, in Maths and in English or a Science subject. Please note: National 5 Applications of Maths or SCQF Level 5 Numeracy are not equivalent to National 5 Maths and therefore will not be accepted
- This programme is aimed towards school leavers between 16-19 years old
If you do not meet the entry criteria for your chosen course, you may be offered an alternative course in the same subject area.
