This course will help you to gain employment in restaurants, hotels, and conference centres. If you are interested in a career in hospitality, then this course is the one for you. This course covers all aspects of working in the hospitality industry.  You will learn about all the different places you can work (from hotels to cruise ships), looking at the different job roles in hospitality and how your career can progress.  You will look at a specific hospitality business in detail.  You will learn about customer care and have the practical experience of doing Barista.

Learning outcome

You could progress into Hospitality at SCQF levels 5/6 and/or seek employment in the industry.

Upon completion of the programme you can progress to a range of full-time and part-time professional cookery and hospitality courses at Dumfries & Galloway College.
