Learning outcome
This course could set you on a path to build your future as a literary agent.Literary agents work with authors and act as a gateway to finding a publisher. The literary agent reads the author's initial submissions and provides feedback to make it better. Literary agents are responsible for promoting an authors work to publishers and media producers as well as handling their business dealings, allowing the author to concentrate on writing.Literary agents can be employed by literary agencies or self-employed in working for themselves.
This unit in conjunction with Communication NC is accepted as the equivalent to Higher English for teacher training programmes in most colleges and universities.
Entry requirements
A good level of English is required for this course.You may be asked to undertake a short diagnostic test to check communication level prior to enrolling on course.You will need the following books:
