The online REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene course covers the following:

  • Microbiological Hazards
  • Food poisoning and its control
  • Contamination hazards and control
  • HACCP from delivery to service
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Food premises and equipment
  • Food pests and control
  • Cleaning and disinfection
  • Food safety enforcement.

Course Syllabus

This ONLINE course is aimed at all food handlers and is recommended by the local Environmental Health Department.This course work is to be completed fully online - with access to online materials.  Candidates will be provided with an assessment date and time via Microsoft Teams (or an assessment can be arranged at one of campuses).  It is essential that candidates can access the video conferencing platform - Microsoft Teams.  An invite to the assessment will be emailed in advance.  REHIS E-learning is supported by internet explorer (version 8 +), google chrome or firefox, to be able to complete the course you will need access to one of the above.Tutor support is available throughout this course
