Course description
Designed to give practice skills in reading, writing, listening and talking with equal weight given to all four areas. It will involve using a wide range of skills from business to project research. This module is generally accepted as an alternative to 'H' English and is recognised by Universities and Teacher Training Colleges when combined with the Literature 1 unit (enrol separately for Lit 1 unit). A tutor will be allocated to support candidates throughout their course and to mark and feedback upon assignments and assessments. Webinars and Teams meetings will also form part of this course to ensure candidates are keeping on track with their studies so appropriate technology will be required. This course alongside Literature 1 is equivalent to 'Higher English' this qualification when gained can help when applying for university and is attractive to employers when applying for jobs and looking to progress in your career,
Entry requirements
Ideally, students would have standard grade/intermediate 2 English prior to enrolling upon this course. However there are no formal entry requirements.
