Course description

This interactive online course is ideal for you if you are thinking of teaching English but are worried about your grammatical knowledge. It’s also perfect if you are a newly qualified English language teacher or if you have been teaching for a while but want a grammar refresher. It will teach you how to identify and understand the grammar of English so that you can go on to teach it to your learners. You will learn how to recognise parts of speech and the terms used to describe them. You will learn how verb tenses work and when we use them. The course will also cover other grammatical areas including those that are most difficult for learners of English. This is an interactive course with plenty of learner involvement. Wed 5.30-8pm. This course is ideal if you are going to start a CELTA, TESOL, TEFL or PDA course but want to brush up on your own grammatical knowledge first. This course is not formally assessed. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.
