Course description
This qualification offers candidates an understanding of how to carry out visual inspections of electrical installations in accordance with the regulations. Areas of study include: •The law and scope of legislation •Electrical equipment and insulation •Inspection and testing (general) •In-service inspection and test •Document labelling •Instruments This is a 2 day course. This course is designed for Electrical Technicians who either carry out, or supervise, the testing and inspection of electrical equipment.
Entry requirements
Candidates who have previously completed the IEE Wiring Regulations will benefit from an understanding and knowledge of electrical testing. A copy of the IEE guidance is provided.
