Course description

This course is an introduction to digital SLR photography (DSLR) and basic image manipulation. On this practical course, you'll be set tasks and activities that help you develop the skills to use your digital camera with more confidence. You'll be briefed on various types of shoots including night photography, people, landscape/cityscapes and objects. You'll also develop your own project.


















You'll study:





  • Aperture and Shutter Settings.


  • Exposure.


  • Composition.


  • Flash.


  • Making the Most of Your Photographs for Web and Print.

Materials

The college can provide some equipment, however we encourage you to bring your own DSLR camera. For digital photography classes you should bring a USB stick or a storage device.
