This course will teach you a comprehensive range of skills in Jewellery Design, with a design-led focus.


You will be encouraged to develop your own creative ideas and will be taught how to translate these ideas into finished, 3D pieces of jewellery.


Students will learn the basic creative and technical skills needed by jewellers, including introductory manufacturing techniques in a variety of materials.


There is a strong ethos of ethical making and sustainability, which will be embedded into your learning.


The qualification also meets the National Occupation Standards for employers.

Entry requirements

This course would suit students who are interested in Art and Design and who wish to work in an exciting medium.  Applicants should have National 5 English and an Art or Craft/Design subject.
