Barbering SVQ (SCQF level 6)

Course description

Are you currently working in a barbering salon but want to improve your knowledge, skills and require industry leading skills to enhance your career?

This exciting course provides you with the training needed to pursue a career barbering. During the course, you'll take part in a variety of activities including demonstrations, presentations, pop-up barbering shops within the college, and competitions.

You will study units which include:-

• Creatively Cut Hair Using a Combination of Barbering Techniques.



• Design and Create a range of Facial Hair Shapes.



• Provide Shaving Services.



• Provide Client Consultation.



• Photography: Portraiture Skills.
