This stimulating, learner-focused programme is delivered by highly professional teaching staff with significant Construction Industry experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students.
Construction managers (also known as project managers, site managers and site agents) supervise and direct operations on a construction project, to make sure it is completed safely, on time and within budget. To do this well, a construction manager needs to be good at organising and planning, motivating and managing people and creatively solving problems.
The HNC in Construction Management is a technician level qualification that combines a broad-based Construction Industry specific curriculum with a more specialist curriculum that equips you with the skills required to advance your career in this specialist and highly demanding discipline.

- The cost shown is for year one of the course only.
- You will be required to attend college for 2 evenings per week from 5.45pm to 8.45pm for two academic years.
During your studies you will:

Entry requirements
Entry is open to any person who can demonstrate by formal qualifications or otherwise, a reasonable expectation of successful completion of the chosen course of unit(s). Admission to the 1st year will be open if you have the following:
- One Higher at Grade C or above including Mathematics or a Science subject; OR
- National Certificate at SCQF level 6 in Built Environment; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications or experience.
