Course description
Upon successful completion of the SQA Health & Safety in a Construction Environment course, delegates will be awarded an SQA Level 1 Award certificate. This course will enable delegates to have a better appreciation of aspects of health and safety within the building and construction industry and prepares them for the SQA Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment tests of which there are five, at QCF level 1. The course includes tests on the following five sections: -Principles of Risk Assessment for Maintaining and Improving Health & Safety at Work -Safe Manual Handling in the Workplace -Working Safely at Height in the Workplace -Risks to Health within a Construction Environment -Working Safely around Plant and Equipment

Contact Central Training Services Limited on 01506 829883 for entry requirements. Upon successfu completion of this course and the CITB H,S&E Test, candidates canapply for the green CSCS Labourer Card. The candidate must also pass the CITB H,S&E Operatives test in addition to this course to enable them to apply for the CSCS Labourers Card.
