Course description

This course is designed to teach delegates to drive Fork Trucks and to gain the Forklift Truck Competence Certificate as required by the Code of Practice. Course content includes:- - Safe operating procedures in accordance with approved code of practice - Safe handling techniques - Health and Safety regulations - Theory and practical training with the forklift truck under varying work and operating conditions, safely and efficiently. Course objectives:- - To achieve safe operating procedures in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice for the Lift Truck Industry. - To gain associated knowledge in safe handling techniques. - To be aware of relevant health & safety relating to Lift Trucks. - Provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills to operate a Lift Truck under varying work and operating conditions safely and efficiently.
