Course description
This course is designed for anyone who wishes to be proficient in first aid and it is an excellent opportunity to either upskill to progress to a promoted post within your existing workplace or if you are unemployed this would be a great addition to your CV to make you stand out to an employer if you are seeking work. COURSE CONTENT: The role and responsibilities of a first aider, assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR and AED use, Recovery Position, Heart Attack, Stroke, Choking, Epilepsy, Asthma, Diabetes, Anaphylaxis, Shock, Head and Spinal Injuries, Chest Injuries, Wounds and Bleeding, Fractures, Sprains, strains and dislocations, Minor Injuries, Burns and Scalds, Poisoning, Eye Injuries. ATTENDANCE: Short Duration - Flexible start dates. There are various start dates, please contact the course provider for further information CERTIFICATION: Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
