Course description
This one day module is an abbreviated First Aid Course covering the most important situations and injuries. The course is aimed at those actively seeking employment and those who are currently in low paid work and looking to progress. COURSE CONTENT: Roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider, assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR and AED use, Recovery Position, Choking, Seizures, Shock, Wounds and bleeding, Minor Injuries including cuts and grazes, minor burns and scalds. ATTENDANCE: Short course - Flexible start dates. There are various start dates, please contact the course provider for further information. DURATION: 1 Day CERTIFICATION: Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
