Course description
The SCPLH is a full day course with a multiple-choice exam. The qualification would suit anyone wishing to gain employment in a licensed establishment. It is not mandatory to have a personal license qualification to work in a licensed premises however career prospects may be increased by having this. COURSE CONTENT: The qualification consists of 3 mandatory units to the Scottish Personal Licence Holder and candidates will be provided with a clear understanding of the framework of law and regulations which underpin the responsibilities of the personal licence holder. The 3 units are as follows: - Unit 1 Introduction to Licensing - Unit 2 Responsible Operation of Licensed Premises - Unit 3 Effects of irresponsible operation of Licensed Premises on Society and Health. Two out of the three units are examined and you will gain a qualification by attending a 1 day training course. You will also be asked to sit a multiple-choice examination covering units 2 and 3. ATTENDANCE: Part Time Day - Flexible start dates. There are various start dates, please contact the course provider for further information. CERTIFICATION: SQA Level 2 Award for Personal License Holders (Qualification number: 603/2596/3)
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements however entrants must be aged 18+. Must have photographic ID to sit exams.
