Course description
The aim of the STA Award in First Aid at Work qualification is to enable learners to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills that are required to deal with a range of first aid incidents including: basic life support, anaphylaxis, head and spinal injuries, asthma, bleeds and much more.
Entry requirements
Learners must be 16 years of age or above on the first day of the course. It is advisable that learners have a minimum of level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent. Learners must be able to kneel on the floor to deliver CPR.
