An introduction to cyber resilience. This fully online course is the starting point to introducing learners to the essential knowledge, skills and behaviours required to contribute to workplace cyber resilience and introduces key concepts of cyber security. You will be introduced to types of cyber-attacks, phishing attacks, ransomware, and password attacks. Topics like vulnerabilities in digital devices and digital networks, data security, social engineering, cloud computing, cyber threats; supply chains, working from home, responding to cyber-attacks, risk assessment, cyber insurance, backups, and disaster recovery. You will have access to AI support through chat GPT as well as additional business English resources and AI translator 24/7. Access to a tutor once a week as well as a one-to-one meeting with one of our experienced tutors before submitting your e-portfolio to be evaluated for SQA accreditation (Level 7). Get ready to level up your cyber skills and help support the drive for cyber resilience across Scotland. 8 weeks to complete at your own pace, with an estimated 40hrs input required by yourself.
