Course description

Hard Gel (Builder) Application Hard gels (Builder) are a much thicker gel applied similar to gel polish, they can not only build length and shape but will add exceptional strength to a nail. Builder gels can be used either for natural nail overlays or for short nail extensions. Course Content This CPD accredited short course is suitable for therapists who have completed a level 2 manicure qualification from a recognised awarding organisation. For students who do not hold such qualification the course can be taught, however the use of metal tools will be omitted. The course contains a mixture of theory and practical work, enabling students to carry out hard gel application on clients. Students will achieve CPD points to add to their professional record. Training will be guided by industry professionals to help you achieve the most from your learning experience. Training in both gel polish application and hard gel application is offered for a discounted price, see below for prices. The course will cover Health, safety and hygiene Consultation Anatomy & physiology Benefits of the treatment Nail preparation Product knowledge Aftercare Demonstrations Students will carry out supervised treatments on clients. All training materials are provided on the day. Models will be provided for demo however students are required to bring along 1 to 2 models. Please discuss when booking.
